Layout for November 25th

Happy Thanksgiving Layout Chicks!

This week is a page ready for your favorite Thanksgiving photos, all about Giving Thanks. I used some really beautiful paper from Upsy Daisy Designs that is that perfect backdrop for your pics.

Our technique this week is Faux Chipboard. I cut out the title 4 times from cardstock, then glued all of the pieces together for a wondeful dimensional effect.

I also included a pattern for you to create your own library pocket. I love these pockets, they are the perfect way to hide some journalling on your layouts.

I hope you are having fun today and taking lots of photos- especially of all of the prep work. I think that is what we spend most of our time doing on Thanksgiving!

Layout for November 18th

Hello Layout Chicks

This week is all about family- I think it is the time of year. I was inspired by this beautiful Pink Paislee tree paper, so I searched out a good family tree quote for the page.

The quote is printed on vellum- but you can also print it on cardstock if you would prefer. I used some of my favorite techniques, ribbon photo corners, Cricut letters and shapes, decorative brads, ribbon, etc. To see the recap about the pages and the techniques, click on the video below.

Layout for November 11th

Hello Layout Chicks

Here is this week's layout, it is all about Everyday Blessings.



I used some beautiful Fall paper by Lily Bee Designs, but you can easily change this one around to be a Birthday Layout, Anniversary, Christmas (I think I always suggest Christmas) or really any patterned paper that you like. I created the text piece and the poem for you, it is included with your instructions. The online video explains how to do the "white ink" type of text on your own.

Our layout this week is a fun Halloween layout. It features paper and stickers by Echo Park Paper Company- they have lots of great prints. You could definitely re-work this layout with any 3 patterns, Christmas, Beach, Birthday.

Welcome to our newest adventure- Weekly Layouts Subscriptions!

We are so excited to start sharing some of our fantastic layouts in a different way- and are looking forward to seeing what our subscribers do with those layouts. I have missed doing my layout classes and I am glad to get back to some serious 12 x 12 creating!
